Sheboygan’s Three Sheeps Brewery has been selected by Wisconsin’s Semiquincentennial (that’s 250th in numberese) Commission to brew the state’s official Semiquincentennial beer – their Stay Golden Lager.
Three Sheeps founder Grant Pauly, whose family owned the Kingsbury Brewery in Sheboygan for several decades, said the brew was a nod to a proud product of Sheboygan history.
Pauly said that “…with Stay Golden, we’re proud to help celebrate what America drinks for the 250th birthday celebrations and beyond.”
The taproom plans an event with special releases and food trucks on the July 4th weekend; the taproom will be open on Saturday, July 4 from 11 AM until 8 PM.
