A Sunday night accident resulted in fatal injuries to one of those involved. The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Office said that they received the 911 call shortly before 10 PM Sunday after a semi truck and passenger vehicle collided on State Highway 23 at Scenic View Drive in the Town of Greenbush.
A preliminary investigation determined that the operator of a Toyota Corolla was southbound on Scenic View Drive when it failed to stop at the intersection with Highway 23, entered the path of an eastbound semi and was struck. The collision caused the semi to overturn and resulted in the death of the operator of the Toyota.
That driver was declared deceased at the scene and three occupants of the semi were transported to local hospitals for various, non-life-threatening injuries.
No other details are being released at this time.
