Sheboygan’s 3 Sheeps Brewery is expanding its sales footprint and returning a taste of Sheboygan to the Windy City. Beginning this month, 3 Sheeps will be distributing its core beers – Chaos Pattern, Fresh Coast, Wisconsinitis and Rebel Kent…along with their three variety packs…in the Chicagoland market. Sales were launched there in 2017 but COVID interrupted that plan. The local brewer is now partnering with Chicago-based distributor Brew City Distributing to bring Sheboygan suds back to the neighboring state of Illinois.
The brewery also announced that its 3 Sheeps Stay Golden Lager has been officially selected by Wisconsin’s Semiquincentennial Commission to be an official beer of the state’s events recognizing the United States’ 250th anniversary. Founder Grant Pauly called it “…an honor for Wisconsin to approach us to make this beer; we are really excited by the opportunity.”
Pauly said that the taproom plans to celebrate the 4th of July weekend with special releases, live music and food trucks.
