Candidates running to be Wisconsin’s next governor are touring the state by bus in the run up to Election Day, Tuesday, November 3rd.
On the Republican side, Congressman Tom Tiffany told reporters that “I’m for returning all of the surplus to the people. I’m for cutting property taxes and we’re going to audit all of state government to root out the fraud and waste. I’ve laid out a clear vision for the people.”
Meanwhile, Democrat, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley said “I’m gonna work to lower your costs. I’m gonna make sure that we can expand health care, improve our schools, and most importantly, I’m gonna bring people together to do it. And I’ve done that.”
Crowley has held a consistent lead over Tiffany in the Marquette Law School Poll. The next and final poll prior to Election Day is due out tomorrow.
