The Stefanie Weill Center will roll out the red carpet on Thursday to open the 2nd annual Sheboygan Film Festival. The festival, which runs Thursday through Sunday, begins with a traditiona red carpet entrance at 6 PM with the showings beginning at 7.
The Weill Center showings will feature the dark comedy, ”Chili Finger” starring Judy Greer, John Goodman, Bryan Cranston, and Sean Astin, followed by “Freed’s Basement Bijou” about a former insurance agent in Racine who built a 1920s movie theater in his basement. Following the showings the Weill Center will host a celebration with live music and a cash bar, and one drink ticket and a bag of popcorn are included with each festival ticket.
The festival will continue through the weekend with showings and activities at several venues including the John Michael Kohler Arts Center, Jake’s – a Lakeland Community, Above & Beyond Children’s Museum and the Mead Public Library.
