Search warrants were executed in the 1400 block of South 8th Street, 1400 block of Alabama Avenue, 1200 block of North 12th Street and 1800 block of Superior Avenue. From those four locations, more than four pounds of cocaine, 10 pounds of marijuana and nearly 13 ounces of methamphetamine were seized along with numerous firearms and a vehicle. The street value of the contraband is more than $100,000.
The man, who has previous convictions on drug and weapons offenses, now faces charges of possession with intent to distribute cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana. Along with those three charges, additional charges were filed of possession of a firearm by a felon, and maintaining a drug trafficking place within 1,000 feet of a school.
