Urban Middle School in Sheboygan remains open as construction moves into its next phase. The district says outdoor demolition should wrap up by mid-September, with footings, foundations and steel framing for a new three-story addition beginning in October. The addition will include core classrooms for each grade level.
Students are currently using temporary learning spaces, with the district targeting the 2027-28 school year for moving into the new addition.
