There’s a new name to Sheboygan’s federally-qualified health clinic. Lakeshore Community Health Care is now a member of Noble Community Clinics. The move, which was announced last September, also includes operations in Manitowoc and West Bend. Staff in Sheboygan were laid off at the end of March, but have now been rehired, and are serving all former Lakeshore patients.
Noble said that clients may have received a letter concerning out-of-network status after the transition, however Noble said that should not be the case, and all patients will continue receiving treatment including those with Medicaid, private insurance, and those with no insurance.
