A Ripon man is facing numerous felony charges after allegedly assaulting and holding his roommate captive overnight.
Jared Allen Thurber is was arrested after officers responded to a home on Douglas Street where the victim reported being attacked and held by the suspect. The victim stated he was able to escape, running to a neighboring house, where he called 911.
Thurber barricaded himself for several hours in the home before finally surrendering.
