A pole shed and much of its contents were damaged, but not entirely destroyed on Sunday thanks to fast response by firefighters. The blaze happened a little before 4:30 yesterday afternoon in the Town of Taycheedah. Responders from the Fond du Lac County Sheriff’s Office and Mt. Calvary Fire Department arrived to see smoke pouring from a 30-by-40-foot pole shed on Laurel Lane.
Crews quickly extinguished the fire, preventing it from spreading and allowing much of the structure to be saved. Still, multiple trailers, a boat, lawn mower and multiple pieces of equipment were damaged.
There were no injuries and investigators are now trying to discover what started the fire.
