A set of 55 satellites launched early Sunday morning from Cape Canaveral, Florida, did not disappoint when traversing clear skies above our area on Monday night.
The 55 micro-satellites, part of the Starlink constellation that provides wireless internet connections to some 48 countries, glided in close formation in a glittering line at about 6:55 p.m.
If you missed it, you’ll have another chance when clear skies on Friday night allow another view. This next one, however, will be much more spread out, progressing through the southern skies one-by-one between about 6 and 8 p.m.
