What began 42 years ago to promote cooperation between neighborhoods and police organizations is still going strong with National Night Out coming up on the first Tuesday in August.
In Sheboygan the event headquarters are at End Park at 13th and Bell Avenue where there will be displays of law enforcement and emergency vehicles along with exhibits from numerous safety and community organizations. Food trucks will sell refreshments while Open Door Entertainment provides music.
This year’s observance is hosted by Sheboygan Countywide Crimestoppers. There’s no charge to attend; just come spend the night out with your neighbors at End Park. The event runs Tuesday from 4:30 until 7:30 PM.
