Motorists are likely to encounter new traffic patterns as the I-43 project in Sheboygan County progresses this week.
Full closures of both the northbound on-and-off ramps at Highway “V” have been scheduled between 6 AM today and 10 PM Tuesday. Also on Tuesday a full closure of the on-ramp from Highway 28 to I-43 southbound will last from 6 AM until Wednesday at 10 PM, while the ramp from 28 onto northbound I-43 will have its full closure on Wednesday between 6 AM and 8 PM.
Drivers should also be aware of work on signage on eastbound Highway 23 between County Road “Y” and Taylor Drive where an auxiliary lane has been closed, limiting traffic along that stretch to two lanes only.
