Two Sheboygan businesses will benefit from a round of grants from the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection. Governor Evers announced the grants from the 2026 Meat Processor Infrastructure Grant Program, which is designed to help local meat processors modernize and grow their businesses, produce new products, or expand their markets, while improving profitability and sustaining the long-term viability of Wisconsin’s meat processing facilities.
Under the grant, Fayes Frozen Foods LLC in Sheboygan will expand the production, packaging, and freezing line as part of the recently-announced expansion of Faye’s Pizza.
Also, the Sheboygan Pasty Company was given a boost for packaging line upgrades.
The two companies were among 18 selected from 47 statewide applicants to the program. Companies are required to provide a 100% match of their grant amount.
