Sheboygan Falls School District
The Sheboygan Falls School District is preparing a third attempt at a capital improvements referendum after a community survey showed majority support.
District officials say 57 percent of respondents backed a proposed 65-point-7 million dollar plan that would renovate, rather than expand, portions of the elementary and high schools. The project would add about 22 dollars per year in taxes on a 100-thousand- dollar home.
School board members say they plan to move forward without a proposed gym addition and could finalize a referendum question for the November ballot as early as August.
