Plymouth Police have arrested a 46-year-old man following a lengthy investigation into an alleged violation of Wisconsin’s sex offender registration requirements.
Police took the man into custody at around 3:30 AM Monday morning in the 1000 block of Fairview Drive. It’s alleged that the man failed to comply with requirements established under Wisconsin’s Sex Offender Registry laws.
The as-yet-unidentified man now faces a class H felony charge, which is punishable by up to 6 years in prison, a maximum fine of $10,000, or both. He is now in the county jail pending an initial court appearance. His arrest follows the collection and review of evidence over an extended period, and required coordination between law enforcement resources to verify information and establish probable cause for the arrest.
