The goal of this new study is to improve the well-being of cattle in the world. Boehringer Ingelheim Animal Health is behind the project with a human psychological research firm in England.
They’re looking at human behaviors and the impact those behaviors have on cattle. The team will be getting a lot of information from farmers and veterinarians worldwide about their farming practices. One other area they want to take a look at is how they deal with pain management on the farm.
The project is a part of an initiative called “Cattle First”, whose goal is to work with farmers and vets to help them and their animals out.
