Paint the Towns in Fall Color Free Reception
A Night of Art, Autumn & Adventure Awaits at the Plymouth Arts Center Public Invited to Paint the Towns in Fall Color Reception & Silent Auction
PLYMOUTH, WI — There’s something magical about seeing Sheboygan County through an artist’s eyes—and on Friday, October 9, the public is invited to experience the beauty of our area captured on canvas at the Paint the Towns in Fall Color Public Reception & Silent Auction at the Plymouth Arts Center.
From 6:00 to 9:00 pm, Gallery 110 North will come alive with an exciting collection of original plein air paintings created throughout the area during this year’s annual Paint the Towns in Fall Color event. These one-of-a-kind works capture the landscapes, landmarks, farms, waterways and charming scenes that make Sheboygan County such a special place.
Come for the art. Stay for the celebration. And don’t miss your chance to take home a favorite painting!
The evening offers an exceptional opportunity to meet the talented participating artists, see their freshly completed works, and bid on a painting during the Silent Auction, which ends promptly at 9:00 pm. Whether you’re an avid art collector or simply love the beauty of Sheboygan County, this is a wonderful opportunity to acquire an original work of art while supporting area artists and the Plymouth Arts Center.
Awards will be presented at 6:45 pm, recognizing artists whose work has been selected by the competition judge. A total of $3,000 in cash awards will be presented.
And there’s plenty more to enjoy! Guests will be treated to live music by Max Becker, complimentary appetizers and desserts, and a cash bar while they mingle with artists and fellow art lovers. Admission is free.
Paintings that are not sold during the Silent Auction will remain on display in Gallery 110 North through November 13 and will be available for purchase at a “Buy It Now” retail price—giving art lovers another opportunity to find that special piece.
The Paint the Towns in Fall Color event is coordinated by artist Dan Rizzi and brings area artists together to paint outdoors, capturing the beauty of the region as it appears in real time. The resulting exhibition provides a fascinating glimpse of Sheboygan County through the individual eyes and artistic styles of the participating painters.
The 2026 event sponsors are Plymouth Furniture, Sargento, Masters Gallery, Dan & Barb Garton, and Van Horn Auto. Their generous support helps make this celebration of the arts possible.
Mark your calendar now for Friday, October 9. Gather your friends, enjoy an evening surrounded by original art, meet the artists who created it, and perhaps discover a painting you simply can’t leave without!
All proceeds from the event benefit the Plymouth Arts Center, a charitable 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enlivening the spirit of the community and enriching lives through diverse experiences in the arts.
