There is HOPE Suicide Awareness Walk
The Hope Suicide Awareness Walk is an annual fundraising and awareness event held along the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan in Sheboygan, WI. More than a walk, this meaningful gathering brings our community together in a powerful show of support, connection, and hope. The day begins with an opening ceremony and continues with the awareness walk, along with activities that foster community and healing—including a brat fry, raffles, music, and family-friendly activities that invite people of all ages to participate.
This event honors and supports those who have experienced the heartbreaking loss of a loved one who has died by suicide, while also creating a space for individuals facing mental health challenges to connect with others and feel the strength of community support. By coming together, we raise awareness, reduce stigma, and remind one another that no one has to face these struggles alone.
All funds raised through the Hope Suicide Awareness Walk directly support Mental Health America Lakeshore’s programming efforts focused on mental health education, support, and suicide prevention in our community.
