National Farmers Union Presents the 2026-2027 National Youth Advisory Council

WASHINGTON – National Farmers Union (NFU) concluded the 2026 All-States Leadership Summit, held in Washington, D.C., where new members were selected to serve on the National Youth Advisory Council (NYAC).
Taryn McCaa and Darla Fesmire, members of Oklahoma Farmers Union; Easton Hansen, member of Wisconsin Farmers Union; and Carter Hass and Lily Thomas, members of North Dakota Farmers Union, will serve one-year terms on NFU’s NYAC.
The NYAC is selected annually through a competitive application process at the All-States Leadership Summit and represents thousands of Farmers Union youth from across the country. Council members work closely with NFU education staff to support programming at the NFU Annual Convention, help plan future All-States Leadership Summits and pursue leadership and service projects within their home states.
All-States Leadership Summit brings students and young adults from across the country to network and learn from agricultural industry professionals. Participants were guided through an immersive educational experience centered around topics including policy advocacy, professional development and leadership.
