Plymouth Police have placed one person in custody after a search warrant was served on a central city residence on Thursday.
In a Friday release, Deputy Chief of Police Matthew Starker said that an ongoing narcotics investigation prompted serving the warrant. Investigators entering the home in the 500 block of McColm Street located suspected methamphetamine and additional evidence related to the investigation. Two adult males were detained without incidence, and one of them was transported to the Sheboygan County Detention Center on a charge of Possession of Methamphetamine and Drug Paraphernalia.
The operation was conducted with the assistance of the Sheboygan County MEG Unit, and the investigation remains active. Officials say that additional charges may be referred to the Sheboygan County District Attorney’s Office pending review of the evidence collected during the event.
