Washington County Authorities seized large amounts of drugs, weapons and money from an apartment in the Village of Slinger last week. Sheriff’s Detective Lieutenant Tim Kemps said the fact that the suspect, 37-year-old Robert Cleveland of Slinger, was already in custody on unrelated charges, made the situation much safer for the several families living in the complex.
The search warrant served Thursday by Washington County’s Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force and the Slinger Police Department turned up over an ounce of cocaine, more than $12,000 in US Currency, seventeen firearms including a machine gun, thousands of rounds of ammunition, ballistic vests, psilocybin mushrooms, and marijuana.
Cleveland, who was under observation for several months, now faces charges on that seizure and had his bail set at $100,000.
