SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (WHBL) – Five people were arrested after a high speed chase down I-43 Monday afternoon.
The Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department says a deputy tried to pull over a vehicle – listed as stolen from Milwaukee – near County V. That vehicle wouldn’t stop and, instead, led officers on a chase that reached speeds of over 110 miles per hour. The chase made it to the Belgium exit in Ozaukee County – where the driver of the car tried taking the exit, but ended up crashing.
Five people in the car took off running, and were all arrested. The State Patrol, Ozaukee County Sheriff, and Port Washington Police all assisted the Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Department.
