Join us for a series of free, in‑person regional workshops designed to help farmers, agronomists, and agricultural partners fine‑tune nitrogen management using real on‑farm research. These late‑winter sessions highlight strategies that can improve both profitability and water quality, drawing on local data, hands‑on experience, and insights from the Nitrogen Optimization Pilot Program (NOPP). Each workshop brings together farmers, agronomists, and UW–Madison experts to explore practical nitrogen management approaches, from understanding in‑season nitrogen availability to learning how cover crops contribute nitrogen credits. Participants will hear directly from those conducting on‑farm trials, get updates on statewide nitrogen research, and see how peer‑to‑peer learning drives continuous improvement.
Workshops are free and include lunch, with topics tailored to each location. Whether you’re looking to refine nitrogen rates, better understand nitrogen movement in soils, or explore new practices through local research, these sessions offer a collaborative space to learn and connect.
