(LEARFIELD) – The Green Bay Packers defense reportedly looked strong in Thursday’s joint practice with the Indianapolis Colts.
The two NFL teams meet in a preseason game Saturday.
AtoZSports-dot-com reports the Green Bay defensive line was able to generate a lot of pressure on the Colts’ quarterbacks during the workout, piling up five sacks.
All that pressure helped the defensive backfield create four turnovers, including three interceptions.
Packers running back Josh Jacobs talked about how the offense looked against the Colts.
Jacobs said that he enjoyed the joint practice.
Tight end Tucker Kraft said that he was disappointed with the offense’s performance.
He offered up more on the practice.
Love and his thumb: Packers quarterback Jordan Love joined the Packers in Indianapolis after having surgery to repair ligaments in his left thumb. Love talked about the decision to have or not have surgery.
Love also discussed when he’d be back on the field.
Love didn’t seem very concerned about the injuries that he has had.
The Packers kick off against the Indianapolis Colts at noon on Saturday.
