Music transports your brain back to the time and place when you first heard it. I was on vacation in Los Angeles in the summer of 1999. This song was played on one of the hit music radio stations every 40 minutes! Sometimes you’d hear it twice while stuck in traffic. It was awesome!
In summer of 1999 Smash Mouth performed their new hit song at the MLB All Star Game. THEE song of the summer! You couldn’t get away from it. How was that 26 years ago? The next generation learned this song from the movie Shrek!
