The City of Sheboygan has applied for funding through the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resource’s Safe Drinking Water Loan Program, and the DNR is encouraging those with relevant comments to submit them for review. The SDWLP projects Sheboygan applied for are intended to fund lead service line replacement throughout the City.
The actions in themselves wouldn’t normally require environmental review since they’re considered minor, but are a condition of getting the loan. The SDWLP has already determined that no significant environmental effects will result. Anyone wishing to submit comments can do so by October 27th at:
