(WHBL) – There are no reports of any injuries or any spills after a Canadian Pacific train derailed in Dodge County on Tuesday.
The sheriff’s office says 29 cars jumped the tracks just outside of Reeseville.
Canadian Pacific says the cars were carrying wheat, seed, and bentonite clay.
Dodge County Sheriff Dale Schmidt says the scene is a mess, but it could have been a lot worse.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause of the derailment. There’s no word on how long they expect the clean-up to take.
