MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – Jack Flaherty pitched six scoreless innings and struck out six as the St. Louis Cardinals blanked the Brewers 2-0 in Milwaukee on Thursday afternoon. Alex Reyes added the save for St. Louis.
Nolan Arenado had three hits and drove in a run for the Cardinals.
Corbin Burnes struck out nine but gave up one run over five innings to take the loss for the Brewers.
The loss drops Milwaukee to 20-18 on the season.
