Coast Guard Called In To Search For Missing Boaters On Lake Winnebago

FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WHBL) – A search is underway in Fond du Lac County after two boaters went missing on Lake Winnebago late Monday night. Sheriff’s Deputies got a report around 9pm of the two men canoeing near the southwest end of the lake – but when rescue crews got to the scene, they found the boat, but not the two men. A Coast Guard Helicopter out of Michigan showed up around 11pm and has been searching throughout the night.
