SHEBOYGAN, WI (WHBL) – A Sheboygan County Church is undergoing a Public Health facility investigation, having already been connected to 23 of the most recent cases of COVID-19 recorded in Sheboygan County. According to the daily update from the Sheboygan County Division of Public Health, the study is ongoing and the church is very cooperative, having moved to all virtual services at this time. The congregation involved was not identified by DPH.
2 more positive test returns were recorded since yesterday, while another 5 have recovered. Of the 171 confirmed coronavirus cases, 46 are active and 1 is hospitalized. 223 more persons had negative test results since yesterday, meaning that less than 1% of those test returns received in Sheboygan County over the last 24-hours were positive for COVID-19.
Deaths in Wisconsin from COVID-19 have now surpassed 700 with the addition of 9 more since yesterday, resulting in 703 persons deceased from the coronavirus. 266 positive test returns – weighed against the 10,883 negatives – yielded a 2.4% positive return rate.
