Maroon 5 is the first act confirmed to perform on this year's CBS TV special The Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! -- Countdown to Music's Biggest Night , which will reveal the Grammy nominations in the top categories.  Maroon 5 are no stranger to that little golden gramophone: they've won three already and their single, "Payphone," has a good shot at a nomination this year.

In addition, two-time Grammy winner LL Cool J will return as the host for the event, which airs at 10 p.m. ET/PT on December 5.  Ticketsare available to the general public and go on sale September 21 via Ticketmaster.  In addition to sitting through the one-hour telecast, fans in the audience will be treated to an extra one-hour exclusive concert afterward.
