MILWAUKEE, Wis. (WHBL) - G-E Health-care said today it will cut two-percent of its Wisconsin jobs. The economy is being blamed. The Milwaukee-based maker of large medical equipment said it had to make quote, “tough decisions in the current economic climate.” Up to 130 people could be laid off from G-E Health-care facilities in Milwaukee and Waukesha. But the firm would not go into details. It said it was trying to minimize the impact by finding other jobs within General Electric for those on the list. G-E Health-care employs around 65-hundred people in Wisconsin.
