Cool concept.

Although if I owned an iPad, I'm not sure I would want to buy something that continuously smacked the screen.

Check out the iTypewriter. This little machine gives you the ability to type on your iPad as if you're using a traditional typewriter.

What do you think? Is this a good idea; would you actually buy one?

Side note: If you're wondering why the person demonstrating the iTypewriter is typing so slow, it's because the keyboard being used isn't a traditional QWERTY keyboard. Maybe they'll convert to the traditional configuration with the next upgrade.
