
A new study (in the UK) found that 90 per cent of women have been on some form of diet in their lifetime, and those women spend 17 years of their life dieting.
Of these loyal dieters, the average woman loses her body weight over nine times during her life time.
The study also found that the average woman diets twice a year, losing 11 pounds each time.
The top reasons for the diets are health reasons, having getting rid of a muffin top, and wanting to look good in a bikini.
However, a general love of food and lack of willpower keeps would-be dieters from achieving their dream body.
